The Mega-suacer is a Mega Hit!

I pulled out the good old Mega-saucer to broaden Georgia's horizons this week. It is going to have to grow on her. All she really likes it for is sucking on the edge of the seat, which she looks funny doing. But I'll tell you what, the minute Will saw me put her in it he was crying, "My turn!" So I figured, what's the harm? He loves it! He just likes to sit in there and think every so often. Then Wally decided he needed a turn, he didn't mind it himself! Funny the things these guys get into, literally! So we'll keep it around until Georgia likes to be in it, or it breaks from her brothers, I guess! Mega-Fun!

Summer, Summer, Summer time!

It is sad to see August come to a close! Summers always fly by and the next thing you know we are in the middle of another long Chicago winter. I wanted to post some random pictures we have taken over the summer. Soon it will be time to hunker down and go into hibernation!

Del and Wally took in a Cubs game last week with friend Tony and his family. They had a lot of fun riding the train, filling up on junk and watching the jets fly over for an airshow practice run. Take me out to the ball game!

Here are some pictures of our little Georgia. We are waiting to see if her hair stays red. I just can't get over her hair! It really is the last thing I expected, and it is so cute. She is such a good girl, and her brothers love her so much. Will and Wally just worry so much about Farfars. (That is Georgia in Will's special little language.) We are so blessed with our little girl!

Bear Lake!

While we were in Utah, we sent a few days up at Bear Lake. We had lots of fun with Del's family. We rode on a wave runner and played in the sand. The kids LOVED it. Any chance to play with the cousins is a dream come true for Wally and Will. We also got the chance to see all the families put their talents on display during the talent show. And there are always those raspberry shakes! Del and I both grew up going to Bear Lake during the summer. So it holds some good memories for both of us!

Boy, Oh Two Year Old Boys!

Well, we started our Utah trip with a bang thanks to our "gracefully challenged," little will. Just a few hours after we got there Will picked up a screwdriver in Grandpa's garage and then of course, tripped before anyone knew he had it! We rushed him to the E.R. for a C.T. scan, which they had to sedate him for. Our family is getting good at those lately. We got lucky, it only punctured his nasal floor not his sinus. He had a bad bloody nose and a sore mouth, but he is doing great! He gave us and Grandpa quit the scare! I have never met a clumsier little guy, but he sure is cute! Love ya buddy!

Sisters!

I have been blessed with three great sisters. I miss them so much living away and admire them and all their strengths. I was excited to get some pictures with them while I was home. I am grateful for the fact that I can pick the phone and call any of them, even if it is not really that important. We grew up in a great home where my dad became an expert on how to comfort a daughter. He still know how! We have a good example of what we all want to become when we look our mom! Good luck on Monday with the twins Emily! Hang in there 'till November for your little guy Shelley! Lauren, congrats of being back and good luck with all the new changes! And, thank you for all your help this summer, it was so nice having you close! You may have inspired Del to hire a live in nanny! I love you all, you bless my life and I am thankful for sisters!

Literally! We just got back from Utah where we spent a little over two weeks. We are in our fifth year here in Chicagoland and we had never driven, until now! We loaded up our three kids and made the trip! We did it straight through both directions in 21 hours! Fun stuff. We had tons of fun and saw tons of family and friends.

We spent time in the Valley and made a trip to Bear Lake for Del's family reunion! Del had a business trip while we were there, so he was off to California and then he did some fishing in Wyoming just before we headed home. We had a nice flash flood moment in our own neighborhood as we pulled in from our 21 hour drive. We wondered if we came that far to get stuck a few hundred yards from our house! I have never seen it rain like it rains here in Illinois! It was fun to see the middle of the country on our drive. Especially with the help of Diego and Disney! Thank goodness for DVD players!

Happy Anniversary!

I am posting this late, but I wanted to get something up to tell Del Happy 7th Anniversary, and that I love you! We were married July 26Th 2000. Time flies when your having fun!

Just a little about Del... he is a very hard worker. He is not afraid of a challange, but he is smart about things. He doesn't rush into a bad situation. He thinks things through Completely! He is such a good provider for our family, and he we are his number one priority. When it comes to being a good dad, he is right up there with the best! He is a very understanding person and he gets along with just about everyone. He loves the outdoors and wants to catch a big one in Alaska some day. He also loves to be home, and we love having him here! I have always felt so comfortable around Del, and he is a perfect fit for me! He is just a good person and I have it so good with him! So here is to another seven!
