Some People!

Del's car was broken into yesterday. Taken: credit cards, cash, and GPS. Left with: a lot of phone calls to make, a broken window, and a cold ride home.

Lesson learned.

Now I just have to hope that some ratty little high school spring breaker doesn't GPS his way to my home while Del is camping with the scouts.

Then again, I could give him a piece of my mind.

Him, and the rude accented guy who came up to Georgia in Banana Republic the other day and said "You cry too much."

Yup, kids cry, it's annoying.

It's not like I wasn't trying to get out of there. Chill people. Or, earplugs in public. Kids exist.

Oh, and when I push the handicapped automatic door opener, it isn't so you can stand behind and wait for me to do it, then bump me aside while you saunter through as if I opened it for your convenience and not that of my double stroller.

I guess an expensive, inconvenient smash and grab job puts me in a mood.

You crack me up! Sorry that you had such a terrible experience, but I can't help but laugh at your reactions to everything. :)

That royally sucks about the car. Bummer.

And I adore the Handicapped door openers, even without strollers. I was in a wheelchair during 2 of my pregnancies, and boy, when they didn't work, I would give a piece of my hormonal mind to whomever was within earshot! But I still use them, because you can just tap them with the back of your hand, and not have to push the door palm down with everyone else's germs.

I'm not a freak, I promise.

You're a funny girl...crappy day for sure but your retelling is fabulous...remind me to tell you my own rude person story about the guy that practically ran to grab the last shopping cart at costco, while I waddled along with my huge pregnant belly toteing a toddler and ended up having to walk an extra 30 feet to get my own...some people!

I hear ya! How awful, but amusing to hear you upset! Hope everything works its way out without too much heartache.

Sounds like an awful day, but you made it pretty entertaining to read! It is quite surprising at the number of times people have just watched as I struggle to open a door while push my double stroller through a crowded space. It is pretty sad that there are so many inconsiderate people out there.

Again, thanks for making me laugh!
