Georgia still wakes up in the night about two to three times a week. I know that is it because I give in to what she wants when she does call for me. (A bottle. I know I am terrible. I never gave my boys bottles in the middle of the night when they were almost two. I can't help it, she makes me feel bad, and I'll admit it, I just want her to be quiet so I can go back to bed!)
But now she has taken things to a new level. She has learned how to make me completely paranoid... and sleep deprived. The other night as I changed her diaper in her dark room in the middle of the night, she looked over my shoulder at the open door behind me and said,
"Whas dat? Gasp!... "It a ghost! Is gon dit you!"
I got chills up my spine and turned around afraid of what I would find. Of course there was nothing there, and really I am too practical to be afraid of ghosts, but you never know. What if some crazy guy had snuck in and was standing there and she was pointing him out?
I told her not to say there are ghosts because it freaks mommy out. But now she has done it two more times in the middle of the night. A couple of nights ago, Del woke up to hear me telling her that scares mom and let's not say it anymore, and was laughing into his pillow.
Come to think of it, if she does it tonight, I might just make him get up and face the spooky creature in Georgia's imagination. Let's see how funny it is then!

LOL!!! So funny! I would totally be freaking out myself. What a funny girl and yes, I think Del needs a turn!
I don't blame you. I would be freaked out myself. :) Sometimes I see Ty staring past me and I hope he's not looking at someone. Eeeek! I am TOO paranoid!
Ha! That is so funny! She's talking so good! I would be freaked out too, and I couldn't stop laughing picturing Del laughing into his pillow!
I get scared pretty easily so that would freak me out too. Especially for someone so young to say that. By the way, I'm glad I'm not the only mom who gives her almost 2year old a bottle still. That made me feel better. Thanks!
I would be scared too!
How funny Jess. I'm totally laughing out loud. I can picture my situation being the same-- me freaked out and Chad laughing into his pillow!! She is so cute!
