Last week my friend Tanja and I went down to Chicago to see Wicked. I have been dying to see it for years, and finally got around to it just two weeks before it is leaving town. It was AMAZING! We had such a good time, and I would love to see it again! Everyone around us was just raving about it in the crammed elevators in the parking garage, and I know the man sitting next to me enjoyed himself, because he was gasping, laughing or talking out loud at several different points. We braved the coldest day of the year, and I thought my ankles were going to snap in half from being freeze dried during the walk to the theater! Except it wasn't dry, we had frozen water flying in our faces too! So if we look a little shell shocked in the picture, it is because our organs were thawing. But we decided that it was worth braving the arctic! If you have the opportunity, you'll love it! Rain, sleet, or snow. So Go!

I LOVED it too!! Jared and I saw it right before we left Chicago too and we couldn't stop talking about it afterward! What a fun girls night out.

Ahh - everyone needs to see it for real, I'm so glad you got the chance!! It's being released to the high schools soon and it will never be the same. I agree, totally worth the cold, sleet, pricey ticket, crowds, even obnoxious audience members! Can't wait to see you - we need to hook up now that we're here and settled!!
