Del and Georgia gearing up for the trip down the hill.
This is Del's back, and that is Wally holding the snow board.
This is how Will spent his time on the family sledding outing. He never even left the car.
Plant Earth: We have spent a lot of time watching this lately. My parents have it, so we watched it while we were visiting. We should just buy it, but found that it is on the Discovery Channel on Sunday nights. We record it, because our kids, Wally especially, just LOVE it! It is a good thing to check out!

They are watching Clifford in the picture, but you get the idea.
Towel Racks: This is what I have been up to. Replacing EVERY single towel rack in my house. We have been in our home for five years this summer, and it is like there has been a towel rack revolt. Within the same week, three of them fell off the wall, leaving gaping holes were they were once screwed in. I think it is a combination of cheapo racks to start with, and that I am sure my kids hang on them a little when they dry their hands.
Some of my hadywork. It was a pain. I should definitely be a better patcher being a drywaller's daughter. Sorry dad, the talent didn't take. Too bad you live five states away.
Zip It: Another super fun bathroom fixer. I found this at the hardware store for about $1.99. We had a chronically clogged shower drain. So I stuck it down there, and let me tell ya. Gross!!! The problem is solved, so I recommend it to everyone, but be prepared. I found a whole lotta' gunk, and a big piece of duct tape! I know, weird, but I am sure that was not helping us have healthy pipes. I did it to all my drains after that, and we are flowing freely these days!

Messes!: I have been given a run for my money! My baby has become a walking, talking, mess maker! Georgia could set a record for most messes made in a hour by a nineteen month old. All of us moms have been there, but it has surprised me how fast she has turned on me. Below is Exhibit A. Our basement is often a disaster zone, that is why the toys are down there!
Georgia is also a bookoholic! She follows me and Del around with books, begging us to read them to her. She would be content to sit and read books all day long. Which is great, even fun for the first five! She throws a mighty tantrum when you tell her we will read the sixth one later. Del says she takes after me with her book loving. Now we just have to hope she learns a little about moderation! Well, that is my early 2009 update!

Planet Earth is a favorite around our house as well!
Did you really do the drywall patching yourself???
Your sledding adventures made me laugh.
Love you tons!
