Our Holiday Whirlwind 2008

I am finally posting all of the pictures taken this Christmas season. And beware...there are many!
We had a nice Christmas at home this year. It was so important to spend the Holidays there for us, because in November, Del's dad was diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus, and he started chemo and radiation while we were there.

We had our own little family Christmas morning before leaving town. Our kids are starting to think that Christmas is every day and continue to ask me for toys from Santa even now!

Georgia, taking the dolls clothes off as usual. We live in the land of the naked doll.

Wally got a snowboard and loves it. He is actually pretty good on the little hills around the neighborhood, but was in a cranky mood while I was taking pictures, so he wouldn't give me any actions shots.

Will had a cute little Christmas program at school. It is fun to see him get so into singing. He really does have quite a little talent for it.

Our silly Georgie.

While in Utah, I went with my mom and sisters to a taping of "Good Things Utah" for a second time. It is always fun! This is us with the ladies.

Del's parents with the gift from the all the kids... a brand new shiny snowblower!

We do a Christmas Eve program with Del's family every year. These are the shepherds with Mary, joseph and baby Jesus.

Del's mom and dad give the kids new pajamas every year. The pajama parade with all twenty two grandkids.

More nice gifts on our second Christmas morning at my parents.

Del and my Grandma and Grandpa Clark. They come every year for my mom's Christmas morning breakfast.

Georgia and her new backpack. I told her it was just like Wally wears to school, so she stood by the door waiting to go the bus stop. She is so funny!

All the kids Christmas morning.

Del's sister Wendy and her husband Randy invited us to go ice skating with them. Randy's brother rents out an entire skating rink and so there are not very many people on the ice. Wally absolutely LOVED it. He was pretty good too. He was so funny because he would kind of run across the ice like a newborn deer just getting his legs!

Georgia also loved it! She didn't want to get off the ice, but holding her up hunched over started to kill our backs so we took a snack break. I got talking and didn't see her get off of her chair. When I turned around she was walking around on the skates. I couldn't believe she could balance on that skinny blade. That got some laughs!

Will, always timid in new situations spent his time as an observer. Here he is with Aunt Wendy, and cousin Lauren, who as you can see didn't love skating.

Wally with cousin Gabe.

Me and Georgia. She was not happy about stopping for a picture.

Me, throwing my back out.

Cousins, Cody, Karly, Gabe and Wally.

Del, with his father, Hank.

Del and his mom, Marie.

We met all the cousins on my side and my mom and sisters at a playland to eat lunch. They are all still so little on my side, so it is always so cute and funny to get together.

After anther long airplane travel day to get home, we drove up to spend the night at our great friends, the Tysons' cute house.
The guys took the boys out sledding with the four wheeler while Leslie and I ran around to some fun stores. That was great, as it resulted in a new couch and ottoman for me!! Thanks babe!

So sorry to hear about Del's dad. That is terrible news. What is the prognosis for that kind of cancer? I'm definitely thinking of you, and him.

Also, where was Reagan at GTU? Is she not on the show anymore? I didn't get a chance to watch it at all while I was there, and she was one of my faves!

Looks like you had a fun Christmas, sans Doofus.

Hey, thanks for the well wishes. It is actually not great. Only five percent survive five years. But we are hopeful that he is in that five percent and that by then, they come up with some better treatment. Right now it is inoperable, so we hope that is shrinks. The surgery is horrible anyway. He is in good spirits, and it was good to see Del's parents. He is on a liquid only diet, so he is losing weight like crazy.

Reagan was stuck in L.A. because of weather. The girl that filled in was in front of me in the airport security line on the way home. It was a nice Christmas.
