School 2013
Well, first of all, I got a second opinion, and another x-ray on my wrist, and sure enough it is broken! It should have been casted four weeks ago, but now it is too late, so I will just keep wearing my brace. It has stayed aligned well, and so hopefully it will just continue to heal. I will have to hope for no cartilage damage that may make it arthritic, and do some physical therapy, but I am counting myself lucky it is doing this well! I really, really miss my yoga classes, which are a definite no right now. I have been working on becoming more proficient with weights, but I will have to be extra cautious now that I know I am dealing with a break. So the sooner I can bend and balance on it, the better!
Back to school! We are ready every year! We had a nice, but busy Summer, and now it is time for 5th, 3rd, and 1st grade to get rolling! I am feeling a little guilty that I am thrilled for them to start school! Maybe it is because they like it, and I know I was always glad for the new school year to begin growing up.
I am a happy lady because they are all on the same bus this year, which cuts my bus stop time drastically. It also makes it possible to get after school activities done right away, instead of waiting for the always late Kindergarten bus! Yay for no Kindergarten bus! All early learning kids go to a separate building in our town, then split to their elementary schools for 1st. I am really open to private school options for Walker just to avoid the drop off, pick up situation at that building! It is a major pain!
Wally was so anxious and excited, he couldn't sleep the night before. I heard noises at 11:30 coming from downstairs. I got out of bed to investigate, and found Wally in the kitchen eating ice cream. The cure for insomnia evidently.
Looking sharp for meet the teacher!
Such a young man.
My social boy. Always up for friends and fun.
Cute as a button, stubborn as her Mom. Ha!
And Dad. She got every once of stubborn each of us has in our genes.
Really wants to run with the big kids. Pre school in a couple weeks!
Georgia is thrilled about her zebra lunch bag.
Bus stop.
All our bus stop kids, minus two. Oh, and plus Walker.
Off for a year full of learning! The making of geniuses!

We still have two weeks of summer, but I have to admit I am looking forward to that first day of school! Glad they are all on the same bus this year-that helps! They all look darling and ready to go!
