Ah, swimming lessons. My kids live for them. They love playing in the water. We switched to private lessons this year with a new instructor, Nancy. She is amazing.
REALLY amazing!
Wally is actually willing to turn his head in the water to take a breath. (Ear sensory issues. Getting that guy to do anything that triggers a sensory sensitivity is not easy.)
Will is happily diving to the bottom of the pool and swimming to the side with his head under water. Before lessons he would not even let go of the wall.
And Georgia is willing to jump in, be completely submerged to reach for rings, and float on her back.
We love it. So worth it!
I don't have any pictures of the boys. I got in trouble for taking this one. Apparently there are people in the witness protection program that swim at the health club, so they don't allow photography.
Just kidding. I don't know exactly why they don't allow it, but I am sure it is something along those lines.
