Aaannnd, She's Off!

Off to school! Georgia finally started school! She has been dying to get back since her brothers have been heading out to the school bus every morning. She loves that Kid's Unlimited is her old stomping ground this year. She is no longer the new kid on the block, and she knows her way around the classroom like nobody's business. Because it was the first day, Walker and I got to go with her, and Georgia hit every single corner of the room. She has been dying for that much learning/play stimulation. She will be adding one hour to her preschool day this year. I am sure she will come home exhausted. It will be great for her!

I have a picture of Will, and Georgia at this water table on the first day of preschool. It is fun to see how much bigger they get year to year as they stand with their hands in the suds! Walker loved it so much, that he was stressing one of the teachers out a little with his enthusiasm. I felt bad that he was such a handful while everyone was getting familiar with their new school year surroundings. We spent some time in the hall crying. Walker, not me. This time.

As you can see, watching the water table drain during clean up time, was a major attraction.

Circle time.

Walker joined in circle time. The Metra commuter train into Chicago runs right next to Georgia's school. She saw it go by. Very exciting for everyone. Every day. Over and over. Every half hour during peak commuter time.
"A train! A train!" The teachers just say nicely, "Yes, there it goes again."

We are happy to see a new school year!

I love the knee socks! And I totally know what you mean about hoping it wears her out--that's what I hope for Jordan too! :)

What a cute little girl you have she looks like she really enjoys preschool. Jackson cannot wait to go to preschool too!
