While we were in Utah for our Summer trip, Del and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary. We were lucky to have plenty of family around to farm our kids out to, so that we could do a one night getaway.
We stayed at the simply put.... AMAZING, Waldorf Astoria, Park City. I loved it. I loved the lobby, the cozy, but elegant ski feel, the decor, and of course the company of my husband. Who doesn't love Park City?
This is also where Del and I spent our Honeymoon.
It was a short and sweet Honeymoon. Fitting, as our time away from school, and the balance in our checkbook, were also short and sweet.
On this night away, we took it easy, going to dinner, renting a movie, and the next morning, after a breakfast of soft, steamy, buttery croissants, and house jam, we hit the Alpine Slide and Coaster. I had never had a chance to ride before, and it was fun! It was the perfect getaway. Almost too perfect, because I wanted to stay longer!

SO I bailed on the cookies...bought a costco cake...hahaha! Hey, but I am so glad I got to talk with you! Maybe I will try to master the cookies on a not so crazy couple of days;)
