A Farewell To Jennalyn

Jennalyn is a great young womanI know from church. And she has a story, and a spirit that will impress you.
She joined our church last year, and has been such a great example to her family and those around her. She has always had a lot of responsibility on her shoulders in life, and recently, she has made some big decisions.

She decided to join the National Guard. And as a young women presidency from church, we threw her a farewell open house a couple of weeks ago. It was held at my good friend, Jessica's house.
We are going to miss Jennalyn. Not only is she a calming spirit to have around, but she is my go-to girl for babysitting. She is so good with my kids, and many others from our church and area. She has a lot of little fans, and we all wish her the best!

We were so glad to see that so many were able to come to send her off. And we know so many wanted to be there, that could not. Best of luck Jennalyn. You are in our prayers, and I know our Heavenly Father is watching over you! Always stay close to your Savior, and be safe!!!

Do you see that cake!!!??? The second counselor in the presidency, Jane, made it! It was AMAZING! This girl has a gift. A show stopper to be sure!
Here is the talented lady now...

We all wrote a message of encouragement to Jennalyn, and put it inside of a leather book. Jessica also had everyone write a note, or make a card to send to our service men and women over-seas. We can send them off in a care package to cheer someone's day.

Me and Jennalyn.

Jennalyn and her mom.

Thanks for being our hostess, Jessica!
