Wally and Will have just been thrilled by these fish. Wally draws pictures for them and when we leave home they can't wait to get back to check on the fish.
It is kind of sad for these little guys swimming around in the tank at the store with a sign in front of it valuing their lives at 27 cents. But that is 27 cents well spent when it will entertain your kids for so long!
Let's hope for some long goldfish lives!
Update....
R.I.P.
Ben the fish passed away this afternoon, after a fulfilling life of probably around a week and a half.
(we gave it our best shot)

That has been a favorite pet of Anthony's since he was about Wally's age! It is bringing back memories! He built worlds around his fish--Santa Beta Rex. We got Anthony a Beta and they survive a long time! We did not have as good of luck with gold fish but Betas I hear can last 3 years. We have had the one we have for at least a year, and it does not live in the best conditions!! I can't believe he survives! The reason the one died before that was my fault! I accidently dropped it down the sink when I was cleaning the bowl! Anthony was watching and we both cried! But it would have lasted a long time! Your boys are so cute!
