Today, I am not referring to THAT Mac and Me. I am referring to the fact that we have joined the ranks of the iMac owners. To those of you who are Mac owners, it is like we have joined the fold. We have come home to the place where all decent computer owners should be. I cannot believe how excited people are for us. It is like we have had our fourth child. On the other hand... the PC people out there usually just look at us with a confused stare and ask,"Why?" "PC snobs." I am stealing that title from my friend Kathy, who outright told me she is one.
Well, right now I must tell you, I am wondering why? myself! I am super frustrated with the learning curve involved in this change. As is Del. I know that once we get it down, we will be as happy as all you other Macies out there. But right now, I can't find my files, or my pictures, I don't know how to get into several websites because it says to use Firefox, and although it is downloaded, it doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Configurations? Some nonsense like that. And when I download a file successfully, it disappears into a galaxy far, far away, and I can't figure out how to access it. I need Mac 101. I have however figured out the photo-booth feature. Now that is fun! So at least I know how to post those pictures, since I can't find any others! I know I'll love it, Mac and I just need to get to know each other on more personal level.

Hang in there!! Lauren is looking to get us on a flight Wednesday..I will bring my Mac Bag of goodies. Maybe we can preserve some of that pretty blond hair.
In addition Laur has no idea what Mac and Me is. I however, recall the silly bald alien who looks like he is permanently whistling..

Welcome to the fold! I've never used anything but a Mac, and I'm on my third one. They just keep getting cuter and cuter, and I feel like I need to upgrade. Once you get it figured out, you'll wonder how you ever did it any other way.
I am, however, very thankful for my resident geek brother in law who teaches college and uses only Macs, so any questions I have get answered pretty quickly. It's good to have one of those in the family.
Hi Jess! I am laughing my head off for two reasons. The first is I just watched Mac and Me with Christy and my kids and we were laughing our heads off at how stupid and funny it is. Christy even mentioned you remembering that show! The second is we just got a Mac about a month ago. I am still pretty clueless, but I think I am going to love it! I have a lot to learn!!
Yay for you! I can never tell someone to buy a mac since they're so much more expensive. But I'm telling you, they are worth it!!! Come one come all and make this a mac world for you and for me. If it has a built in camera, we can video chat you know. The kids would love it! Let's try it. I love the pictures. They would make a hilarious little flip book or something! Now all you need is a Nikon! (p.s. Cute pics I've been seeing!) I miss you already, can't you get a pass to Disneyland with me and help me find my way around the malls. I mean malls on steroids. Marc Jacobs, Cartier, Monique Luillier, you name it, they've got it. I felt a little wierd going in to buy some shoes. I had no idea where to begin.
