New Year's Eve
We got home from our trip on New Year's Eve and got a call from Brady and Mandy telling us they were throwing together a little party. So amid jokes of all of us being lame with no plans for the big evening, we had a great time with Nathan and Lacey, and the Spencer's. We had some yummy food,(especially the cupcakes,) and games. And we ended the night with a big "Happy New Year!" (at a seven small children present appropriate,) 10:00 P.M. We had a great night. We just love our Chicago land friends! We would have no one without you! We are also completely devastated that our Brady, Mandy, Alec and Ella are leaving us for California! Booooo! It was our last hooray before the dreaded flu.

My secret is, not washing it for a day, an airplane ride, and two bobby pins! Just kidding, the start is my awesome sister Shelley, the hairdresser. Thanks though. I am taking that as a compliment!
Oh....that makes me sad. And all emotional since you have such great music on your blog and Brady is on his way home from the airport from the final interview that made him call me right after and say..."Pack your bags!" Can't you come with us!!! We will just cry without you!
