Literally! We just got back from Utah where we spent a little over two weeks. We are in our fifth year here in Chicagoland and we had never driven, until now! We loaded up our three kids and made the trip! We did it straight through both directions in 21 hours! Fun stuff. We had tons of fun and saw tons of family and friends.

We spent time in the Valley and made a trip to Bear Lake for Del's family reunion! Del had a business trip while we were there, so he was off to California and then he did some fishing in Wyoming just before we headed home. We had a nice flash flood moment in our own neighborhood as we pulled in from our 21 hour drive. We wondered if we came that far to get stuck a few hundred yards from our house! I have never seen it rain like it rains here in Illinois! It was fun to see the middle of the country on our drive. Especially with the help of Diego and Disney! Thank goodness for DVD players!
